Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 – Celebrating The Birthyear Of The Bull

The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most desired supercars in the world and, as with every supercar these days, there are different variations of it available. Surely most of you have already read about the 900-unit limitation Aventador SVJs, but did have you heard about the small special series of 63 cars released to celebrate the birthyear of Lamborghini in 1963?

In a nutshell, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 is a rare version of what was already a rare model and this is what we love at The Collectors Circle. But what differentiates the SVJ 63 from the normal SVJ? In fact, the only distinct difference between the two cars is the paint finish and the inclusion of the “63” decal on the car. Lamborghini decided to celebrate the birthyear by offering an exclusive series with special painting.

In terms of performance, the SVJ 63 is dead even to his brother. The 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine generates 770 HP and provides a maximum torque of 720 Nm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in only 2.8 seconds, while 200 km/h is reached in 8.6 seconds. The maximum speed is over 350 km/h.

The 1,525 kg heavy two-seater is equipped with Lamborghini’s patented ALA 2.0 active aerodynamic system which varies the aerodynamic load depending on the driving condition. Further important components for its great performance are the rear axle steering, the dynamic steering as well as the automated seven-speed transmission.

The differences between Aventador models SV, SVJ (or SVJ 63) can hardly be noticed when driving around the city. The SVJ was born to live at the borders of what is possible in the automotive industry and this is exactly where the car takes your breath away.

For those of you who didn’t know SVJ stands for Superveloce (Superfast) Jota. The first model to bear this acronym was the legendary Miura in the 1960s and, just as the Miura, the Aventador SVJ 63 is a must-have for Lamborghini collectors. As you could guess, all models have already been sold but we are happy to assist you in finding one.
